Smashwords Major Redesign

The popular eBook distributor, Smashwords, received a brand new look this week. Smashwords is used by publishers and authors of eBooks to get their works to a larger audience.

Their retail  partners include:

AppleBarnes & NobleDiesel eBook Store, Kobo, Sony Reader Store, Page Foundry, Flipkart and Baker & Taylor’s Blio.com.

They are also involved with Oysterbooks, an online eBook purveyer that operates similar to Netflix in that the consumer pays $9.95 per month for unlimited reading possibilities.

Smashwords presents eBooks to libraries through library aggregators, such as Baker & Taylor’s Axis360 service and Library Direct.

Their new look is clean, easy to navigate and has all the tools and options previously available. Changes in the background will allow for even better features in the future. Click the image below to see their blog post on the new look.
